For about 20 years (late 73 to early 94) I was a regular smoker of tobacco/cannabis joints. I enjoyed cannabis but had developed a severe tobacco addiction as a result and I saw no reason to have that, so I cold turkyed off tobacco. The process was difficult with severe withdrawal symptoms, but the result was a drop of more than 50% in my use of cannabis and it became far more casual and less regular. I eventually stopped using cannabis in 2005 with zero withdrawal issues.Derek Williamsnoreply@blogger.com
